The Major Constraints Of Dairy Farming
The major constraints of dairy farming in Bangladesh are lack of education about farming and sufficient land for fodder cultivation. The indigenous cows are unable to give more than 1.5-2.0 litres/day. Sometimes it is insufficient for their calf. The maximum farmer of Bangladesh don't know how to cultivate different fodder. High yielding cows can't survive in this environment. Some crossbred like Holstein cross,Sindhi cross,Jersey cross ,Shahiwal cross etc now trying to meet the farmer demand.
